WARNING - Aspartame Can Stop Your Child's Heart!PLEASE READ THIS! PASS IT ON TO THOSE YOU LOVE!!! We are finding a new wave of people who do not know about the dangers of aspartame. For anyone following the Dr. Clark Method, you MUST avoid all Aspartame. It is addictive and deadly. You will find aspartame in foods that are labeled "sugar-free", especially in fruit juice, chewing gum, yogurt, diet drinks and other food items. It is much healthier to eat plain sugar than to consume aspartame. Aspartame is disguised under the names "NutraSweet", "Equal", and "Spoonful". What makes it so bad? When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F (as in your body), Aspartame breaks down into methyl hydrate (wood alcohol). This methanol poisoning mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It can also cause cardiomyopathy (heart muscle death) that is identical to the "alcoholic cardiomyopathy" damage that kills alcoholics. And most unsettling of all, Aspartame can damage a mother's eggs so that her children and their children are damaged for life! Their Mitochondrial DNA (MtDNA) is crippled, producing cells that lack the energy for proper function. This can cause SUDDEN DEATH when their heart muscle and nerves shut down for lack of energy! As Jim Bowen, MD explains, "Sudden death has now become the leading cause of death in the US! Mitochondrial DNA, (MtDNA), in addition to being where the toxins are generated in great concentration, lacks the protective and repair mechanisms of nuclear DNA, so the mitochondrial DNA is horribly damaged. Just six weeks of using the lo-Cal Kool Aid completely grayed me from having a full head of dark reddish brown hair when I started using the Kool Aid! It was only since 1983 when Aspartame was fully marketed for soft drinks that any full line of hair dyes aimed at the male user were brought to market! I know. I went searching, and there were none at first. MtDNA damage is of itself, so prone to produce cardiomyopathy, that cardiomyopathy is one of many congenital "Mitochondrial DNA Diseases" which the mother can pass on to her offspring from herself having MtDNA that is damaged, such as from having previously consumed Aspartame. "The Maternal transmission of damaged MtDNA can occur for the rest of a woman's reproductive years, and may directly affect both her children and grand children, as well as becoming a persistently transmitted genetic problem. The mother therefore, does not necessarily have to have been drinking Aspartame, when she got pregnant, nor while carrying the baby. Since the female is born with all the eggs she will ever have already present in her ovaries, it may well likely be the NutraSweet her mother drank which is the source of her offspring's problems. "This is not to suggest that Aspartame ingested by the mother before and during conception and pregnancy is not horribly damaging to the fetus. It indeed is, and such Aspartame use is HIGHLY damaging to the fetus, causing fetal loss, deformity, fetal alcohol syndrome, and many other horrible problems. Now that Aspartame has been openly and extensively marketed for twenty plus years, children and athletes may be suffering from the Aspartame foisted upon their mothers and even grandmothers! Yes, a given athlete may never have used Aspartame, but may be dying from an Aspartame MtDNA cardiomyopathy inherited from his maternal line. Athletes who do use Aspartame, or worse yet, both Aspartame and creatine are, of course at great risk, even if they inherited no such problems from their maternal ancestors. Male Ancestors do not transmit MtDNA diseases... "It would therefore be fair to say that children are two-thirds the genetic result of their mother's DNA! All the more reason that females especially, should be protected from any use of Aspartame!" It just occurred to me that perhaps I have not been using the copper hand holds correctly. I have covered them with one layer of paper towel which I keep wet. Am I supposed to have my hands come in contact with the copper and therefore only have part of the copper covered? A. You will get best contact and results with the copper pipes wrapped with a few layers of paper, then moistened. Just rip a paper towel down the middle, and roll each half up fully around one pipe, as described in our Zapper Instructions for Copper Handles. The metal should NOT touch your skin. See the pictures here. Q. I bought the wrist straps so that I could make contact that way. The only problem is that I cannot get the straps to fit snugly. They are very loose and very little contact is made. Any suggestions? A. As you noticed, the wrist bands do not make proper contact, and have caused many folks to get burns and scars on their wrists at the scattered points of contact. June 30, 2006 is a day that will be long remembered as a dark milestone in the history of FDA and its campaign against health consumers. On June 30, an FDA "Final Rule" [went] into effect, establishing a regulatory power grab of such scale and scope that it attempts to bypass all laws, the will of Congress and fundamental protections for consumers. This "Final Rule," which may as well be called a "Final Solution" for drug consumers, claims that consumers can no longer sue drug companies for the harm caused by any FDA-approved drug, even if the drug's manufacturer intentionally misled the FDA by hiding or fabricating clinical trial data. In one blatantly illegal act, the FDA is attempting to pull off the greatest Big Pharma coup of all: The outright elimination of any responsibility whatsoever for the suffering and death caused by deadly pharmaceuticals. In the preamble of the FDA's new "Final Rule" to take effect on June 30, the agency asserts that FDA approval of prescription drugs -- and their implied safety -- may no longer be second-guessed by consumers or organizations of any kind. The FDA's stamp of approval, the agency claims, is an absolute declaration of safety of all such drugs, for any use whatsoever, including off-label use (the use of drugs on health conditions that were never tested in clinical trials). But such a position has no basis in law. During a June 6, 2006 hearing, a New Jersey state court judge Carol E. Higbee characterized the FDA's preamble as, "a political statement by the FDA" and explained that the ploy has, "...nothing to do with science. ...It is contrary to the U.S. Supreme Court's decisions. It is contrary to all the law on preemption. ... In addition to being contrary to the law of the land, it is also contrary to the Constitution of the United States." The FDA is dangerous to America FDA-approved prescription drugs injure 2.2 million and kill approximately 100,000 Americans each year, according to peer-reviewed published studies, and more realistic estimates put the number of deaths at over 200,000 people annually in the United States alone (see Death By Medicine for detailed statistics). Vioxx, according to senior FDA drug safety researcher Dr. David Graham, appears responsible for the deaths of over 60,000 Americans, and further deaths due to beta blockers, antidepressant drugs, statins and other medications continue to mount by the hour. The resulting FDA body count of American casualties makes the casualties of war look small in comparison. The Vietnam War claimed the lives of approximately 50,000 Americans (plus many more Vietnamese), and a memorial in Washington D.C. honors those who died. But FDA-approved prescription drugs have killed well over a million Americans, yet no memorial will be built, no honors bestowed, and now the FDA would deny the families of those victims their legal right to fight for any sort of compensation. It's not like these consumers were killed by enemy gunfire in a foreign land; they were killed by American companies, on American soil, with the full permission and approval of an American regulatory agency! The enemy from within is, indeed, far more dangerous than any foreign threat to the lives of American citizens. Not since World War II have so many Americans died from a single, common, preventable cause, and it almost seems that the FDA has declared war on the American people and is using chemical weapons to win that war. The scourge of dangerous prescription drugs, combined with willful collusion at the FDA, has now created a chemical holocaust on U.S. soil that will continue to claim the lives of mothers, fathers, daughters and sons until the American people demand that justice be served and that the FDA / pharmaceutical industrial complex be dismantled and condemned through some modern-day equivalent of the Nuremberg Trials. How many millions more have to die from this chemical holocaust before this reign of medical terror is brought to an end? We feel that those who make and approve the drugs should be held accountable for their actions. They must pay the price for causing harm to trusting people. Ron has had heart problems for about 20 years - he suffered from atrial fibrillation (rapid heartbeat) and arrhythmia. I have lost count of the times we have ended up in 'Emergency' (usually in the middle of the night) because his heart rhythm was racing rapidly and they would either pump him full of drugs or give him the electric shock with the paddles. He has been taking various drugs during this time and the doctors were getting him to take higher dosages to try to solve the problem. Unfortunately this did not help as the condition was not getting any better and the drugs were causing various unpleasant side-effects. In fact the trips to the hospital seemed to be getting more frequent and his cardiologist just didn't know what else to prescribe. About eighteen months ago he suffered a heart attack and once again medications were changed and at this time he was taking 5 drugs three times a day. The trips to the 'Emergency' didn't end and in the space of 6 weeks he was admitted 3 times. At the end of June 2004 a friend started calling us to tell us about this "amazing" mangosteen juice and suggested Ron should be taking it. We had absolutely no interest and certainly didn't believe it could help him. However, we have to thank Margaret for being persistent because eventually we reluctantly said we would try it (in fact, Ron wanted to prove that it wouldn't help!) I decided I would try a couple of ounces a day as well since we were told that it contained powerful anti-oxidants, but of course I had no expectations and just thought it would be good for me. Within a very short time Ron was feeling better than he had in years. His heart condition disappeared and he has had no recurrence up until this time and is completely drug free!! As for me, after about a month or so I suddenly realized that the arthritis pain in my hands was almost completely gone (something I hadn't given any thought to when I started taking the juice). I must say we are absolute believers in the mangosteen juice now and tell everyone about it. We have witnessed amazing results with various health challenges among some of our friends and family. If someone tells us this juice can't possibly help with their condition we completely understand their skepticism, but just tell them to try it anyway. As Dr. Templeman says, why take a drug when a food will do the job. Everyone knows someone who would benefit from taking the mangosteen juice, so don't keep it a secret.
