Dr. Clark's New Book!!

Welcome to all of our ZapTimes subscriber family! As always, we welcome your feedback, and try to keep up with

NATURAL HEALTH TIP - Cell Phones Cause Sleep Disturbances

The University of Zurich has determined that people who use cell phones before going to bed have problems falling asleep due to the electromagnetic fields produced by the phones. These fields alter their brain waves and cause sleep disturbances. If you talk on the phone at night, always use a regular phone rather than a cell phone.

DENTAL UPDATE - New Filling Material

In our January 2002 issue of the ZapTimes we wrote about the danger of having plastic fillings done with Heliomolar by Ivoclar. We discovered that continuous fluoride release material is embedded in the filling material! It is toxic by design. Ivoclar boasts continuous fluoride leakage as one of its benefits, yet we found in the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) that fluoride is listed in the hazardous ingredients section.

Since that time, we have been hearing more about the inferior quality of Ivoclar materials. One dental specialist that called us saying that she would never have this material placed in her mouth. It breaks down easily and causes leaching in the teeth among other problems. She recommends Diamondcrown by Biodent from Australia. We are told that this is the best material out there, better, harder and stronger than any other and the structure is like a natural tooth. Both Drs. Arechiga and Morales in Tijuana use Diamondcrown for their work with Dr. Clark's patients.

If you have more information and experience, let us know how it holds up. If you already have fillings that leach, Dr. Clark recommends using a tooth zappicator to seal and harden the plastic permanently.

RECIPE - Easy Buckwheat Casserole

3 Tablespoons olive oil
1 cup Kasha buckwheat
½ large chopped onion
3-5 cloves garlic minced
2 ½ cups chicken stock or chicken-style boullion in water
1 heaping tsp paprika
1 cup cooked pasta (small shells or other small pasta)

Sauté onion, garlic and buckwheat in olive until onion is
softened.

Add chicken stock and paprika, and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. It will be wet and mushy. Mix in pasta and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Serve hot. Tastes good cold too!
